At Sarper, tobacco bales are stored in a 35,000 sqm enclosed area where the most trusted traditional warehousing methods are used. These methods applied for centuries enhance the fermentation of tobacco.  All warehouses have a fire protection system and emergency response plan and are equipped with automatic conveyer belt technology between floors.
 
The adjustable presses can produce bales of different weights and lengths according to customer needs and the characteristics of the tobacco.
 
The Sarper facilities built in 1984 have six Muzer production lines.  These facilities are being renovated to increase the quality of operation due to modern needs and customer requirements.

In 1995, with the use of MacTavish steam tunnels and screening separators, the processing capacity increased to 1,500 kg per hour per line. Sarper complies with ISO 9001 standards and is committed to customer satisfaction. Thus, according to requests from customers and different tobacco types, Sarper can adjust the usage of capacity in favor of customers.

Sarper production lines are capable of processing all types of tobacco grown in Turkey.
 
Factors such as dust, heat, moisture, amount of breakage and foreign material on the tobacco blends that affect the quality of tobacco are periodically tested.  Equipments used in the laboratory are:
