| As distinct from conventional, twice-distilled rakı, in triple-distilled Beylerbeyi, the twice-distilled product is again returned to the copper alembic to be distilled once more after the head and tail are discarded. Conventional, twice-distilled rakı production takes 48 hours; on the other hand, triple-distillation of the exceptionally flavorful and pure Beylerbeyi's production takes a full 96 hours. |
